[micromod] synomag®

• contain a maghemite core with "nanoflower" structure
• are available with COOH surface and hydrodynamic particle diameters of 30 nm and 50 nm (synomag®)
• are supplied with a dextran surface with hydrodynamic particle diameters of 50 nm and 70 nm (synomag®-D)
• are available with a starch surface and a hydrodynamic particle diameter of 100 nm (synomag®-S)
• synomag®-D and synomag®-S are designed with the surface groups OH (plain), COOH, PEG-COOH, NH2 and PEG-NH2 for the covalent binding of proteins, antibodies and other molecules
• are available with PEG-OMe (25 kDa) surface for prolonged circulation time in blood
• are available with covalently bound streptavidin for the binding of biotinylated molecules or with biotin on the surface for conjugation of streptavidin derivates
• cannot be separated with a conventional permanent magnet but in a high gradient magnetic field.
